Travel to Croatia by Train
Croatia has a good quality system of transportation and trains are also a great means to get from major cities or towns. Croatia's domestic train system is relatively limited but offers a safe and comfortable travel to all major Croatian cities, except Dubrovnik. One can travel by train to main destinations of Croatia like Zagreb, Pula, Rijeka and Split.
It is also possible to travel by train from elsewhere in Europe to Croatia. There are direct lines from Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Greece.
Recently Croatia has been added to the Eurail Pass system. Now one can travel to Croatia on a Eurail Pass, a regional pass or travel in Croatia on a Croatia Rail Pass.
