Coffee and Tea in Croatia
Croatia is a nation of coffee drinkers, for sure. Croatians polish off an average of 5kg per person annually, which is quite a bit. This habit probably dates back to their being a part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, and also being bordered by the Ottoman Empire; both empires having a lot of coffee drinkers.
Croatia is home to a lot of traditional coffee houses like the ones found in Vienna, which is a real treat if you like to relax and drink your cup of Joe.
