Please note that a valid passport and one other form of identification recognized by international agreement are required upon your entry into Croatia. This can include a driver’s license or other proof of citizenship.
The customs regulations of Croatia are the same as the standards for the EU member states.
You’re limited to 1kg meat or milk product, and this includes honey, and only 5 liters of wine into Croatia. You can freely take foreign and local currency across the borders of Croatia, up to the amount of 15,000 HRK, but you must declare an amount over 40,000 HRK when leaving the country.
Valuable professional and technical equipment must be declared at the Croatian border.
